The Corn Snake Fan Club is ten months old tomorrow and I can honestly say that I’ve never been prouder of anything in my entire life. Since the club was born on 1st April last year we have, quite literally, gone from strength to strength. The website has seen a multitude of changes and improvements and we now have 355 registered members on a regularly busy forum and 65 paid-up members of the club itself.

For those who don’t know much about us and would like to know more, I can tell you that all members receive a professionally printed 12 page news booklet every other month which is filled with fascinating facts on all things corn snake related including a breakdown on morph understanding, genetics, book reviews, anatomy and care tips (amongst other things). A number of shops across the country offer discounts to CSFC members and there is an area of the forum which is hidden to non-paying members but accessible to all those who have paid their yearly subscription fee. Offers (such as free magazines and autographed copies of books) do come our way from time to time and we take full advantage of these wherever possible. Incidentally, there is also a games arcade on the website where paid-up members have unlimited play. Of course, as a club, we’re working on a number of high-profile projects and the most important of these is the Corn Snake Breed show to be held this year, which is both exciting and terrifying at the same time.
