Help please

I have noticed when sending a PM that somewtimes the PM remains in the outbox for days on end, does that mean it has not been sent until it is displayed in the sent box? If so why does it hang around in the outbox for so long? Confused Shocked Crying or Very sad

I believe that it means it hasn't been read, once a person comes on line it sends it and should leave your out box.

I did wonder the same for a while.
