Not sure if this is posted in the right section.

I have just bought a Hozelock Killaspray at my local garden centre, £22.99. (probably get it cheaper on the net) It includes a free extension lance. Can be used for spraying chemicals etc. Can also spray just water.

It is well made, comes with lots of bits to add to it and play with. Holds five ltrs of water.

I just got feed up misting my chameleons with one of them hand trigger squezzy things for misting tiny plants, always leaked everywhere, needed filling up every five minutes and often got blocked up, result no spray at all!

Hence the hozelock thing. Should make mass spraying a lot quicker and with the lance can direct it more onto the plants in the vivs and avoid the lights etc. Not cheap at £22.99 but in the long run might be quite a boon.

Right I have just used it for the 1st time. It's as wicked as the most wicked thing, with wicked written all over it!

Well worth the money. I am sure others already use such a thing for misting reps, amphibians etc that need it. If you don't then go buy one there wicked!

If you get the chance and can afford it, I recommend this system, I have 3 running now and found them to be perfect!

Thats a nice misting system and cheaper than some prices of high end european stuff. At the moment I am still happy playing with my hand held one. But if the passion gets to far out of control it may need to be a fixed system! Wink

It's well worth the money, you can set it to spray every 15 minutes (and combinations of) for 1 to 300 seconds per time. My yemens get sprayed 8 times a day (each about 30 seconds), early morning then throughout the day...far more than I could do by hand.

Perhaps when the rep shed is built. It appears to be good for short or long bursts a few times a day rather than one heavy misiting session. Especially if you have a lot of reps that require it.
