Hi Lynne, I'm feeding my collection on cockroaches (b.dubia & lobsters) and the odd tub of brown cricks. With a bit of luck this will give them enough variation in their diet to give them the nutrients they need. Of course with the Omnivors, I feed them veggies etc. The Bosc and Blue-Tongue skinks enjoy the odd tin of dog food, however I am sure to keep this to a minimum as it can have a high fat content. Hope this helps.

I know cockroaches have been suggested before but I just can't stand the idea of any escapees in my house Embarassed I've been hunting spiders in the garden & managed to collect quite a few moth leaving on the porch light. My Yemens go mad for them! (not as much as for Locusts tho Very Happy )

Hi Connie, I totally understand how you feel, but it is amazing how quickly you get used to them. If and I stress if they get out, then they just stay close to the tub and sit there as they like the temps high. If you can stand spiders then you will be fine with cockroaches. Even my wife is fine with them and she hates creepy crawlies. Give them a try - go on....
