finaly, able to make a nice picture of ,y florida orange.
most of the time, they are grey, because of the calcisand, but when she is adult, i will be switching her the the other dustfree substrate, to keep het pretty Very Happy

stunning colour there! Yeah bring her off the calci sand (stops them eating it) and will bring her colours out even more!

i don't mind them eating it. and i would keep them on the calci forever, because i think its the best substrate, but we have some really nice coloured beardies now, and sometimes i want to also see the colours Very Happy

Soph,
I think you are talking about the T-rex type coloured 'calci sand'? Casper uses a pure limestone grit which is a great substrate.

Wow - what a lovely looking beardie. Great colours. I love the eyes too - very piercing. On the subject of substrate, I also had this problem in that my beardies were always grey and dusty. I switched to playsand from Argos - £2.99 a bag I think and I have not looked back since. This was on the recommendation of a lot of forum members here; here's the post:-
