ok took a few pics of my dogs, background isnt great in them but ive tried to get some bokeh going on Smile its nearly impossible to get them to sit still.

heres a couple, still getting the hang of this camera.

ok for some reason with photobucket they have lost a lot of quality and gone more powdery looking? whats a better uploader thats not going to ruin the quality?

Lovely dogs mate..I would try some different white balance settings..I see these were taken on manual, try some different settings as colour looks slightly off in pics of the black dog. As for photobucket works great for me..although I resize all my pics before I upload them..

hi stuart

i resized my pics in pp cs3, and kept the quality to max, and they do look good when viewing them on my comp, but when i uploaded them to photobucket, they instantly looked bad, i can alt-tab between the photobucket image and the original file on my comp and there is a lot of difference in colour

i did photo these in AWB, my ixef says so plus i havent changed this setting as i havent learnt how to use it yet. Laughing Laughing Laughing

im getting a lens with a larger apperture next week (17-55 f2.8 is usm canon efs lens) which will keep the apperture constant at f2.8 all the through the focal length range, which will be nice!

need to learn my shutter speeds too, as im shooting in AV at the moment but would like to start TV for things like planes, waterfalls etc.
