which termostat dose every one use?

I am looking at getting either habistat, Microclimate or luck rpetile, has any body had any problems with any of these

If/ when they fail, do they fail on or off?

any comments would be welcome

Microclimate nothing else ,they have controls that need a small screwwdriver to change them up and down whereas the habistats are a knob easily knocked and altered ! also the recent problems reported with failures i have noticed have all been habistats...

not ALL habistats are knobs. i have both. much prefer habistat, the amount of micro climate i have bought which didnt work when i put them on, then had to be taken back and replaced was disgusting. habistat everytime.

lynne the ones that have not worked, did they turn the heat source on or off? can you remember

i bloody well am not buying 2nd hand. i have returned 4 micro climate. they are in my opinion, flimsy. the habistats are much more sturdy, and not all have knobs. although i have ones with knobs and i find them easier to use as i can see the measurements and dont need a tiny wee screwdriver. the knobby ones are put where they cant be reached or knocked. ie top shelf.
i have never had a habistat give up the ghost. i have had micro climate not work before it was ever put on. 4 of them. my daughter has returned these too. she prefers habistat.
second hand indeed!!!!
