I took my corn snake into my local reptile shop today just t make doubley sure that she was gravid, and the shop owner says that she is and has 9 eggs. With her i took my male and other female corn snake, because i wanted to have all the sexes checked.

Anyway it turns out all my corn snakes are girls Shocked Shocked which means that the gravid corn is only carrying infertile eggs Sad

However on the upside the shop owner (who i am quite friendly with) said that he was getting 10 rescue corns in in a few weeks time and i could have a free male if i wanted one. So i said yes please.

So my old 'male' corn snake has gone back in with the gravid one, because i doubt they will stress each other out because there will be no attempted mating.

aw thats a shame. but be certain the other female wont stress her out and put her off laying, we dont want her getting eggbound. great you are getting a male though, good luck for next time and keep us updated on how she gets on laying this lot.
