Right - before we start - i do know how to look after them - so I'm not after basic info and you don't have to roast me! But what I would like is to know about things people have done to to make their little ackies really happy - food stuffs, handling, things to climb on and dig under and best substrate etc. Thanks Ben

well i am using kiln dried sand.
and a 30 l? box full of mixed sand and peat.
build them a basking stack! Scott w has one in monitor section (caresheets)
they love lobster roaches.
a pinkie now and again, a water bowl not too deep so they can climb out easily.
i put mine in a bath of lukewarm water now and again. mine dont seem to drink from a water bowl. so i pour water on the wood at basking spot and they drink it!
dont ever grab them they will usually bite when scared. Get them used to you. feed mealies from your hand and just leave your hand at the basking site for 5 mins. so they get used to it.

Good luck Nick
