Here are a few from my photo collection of the last year or so, or since i've had a camera any way, see if there is any thing you like? there are a lot more species as easily kept and available on the "market" so have a look around Laughing only one would be a real tricky one and that would be Plistospilota guineensis below:


Hierodula majuscula


Rhombodera species, possibly basalis?


Prohierodula pictus/picta ?


Rhombodera fusca


Solygia sulcatifrons


Deroplaty desiccata


Very Happy

Pretty slim i would have though, easy enough to rear to adult hood but so stressy as adults, i'll leave them to Graham smith and Rob byatt who are having some succes with them, i think they might need a bit more privacy than most other species but theres probably more to it, they'll suss it hopefully Smile

edit: Pity cause they really are one of my most favourite species, big typical looking mantis,
I have just picked up a bunch of Hierodula membranacea nymphs as they are pretty big mantids as adults and do very well anyway Smile

Yes i remember Laughing half way there then approximately, you still have plenty of time left to pick up a male or two i would have thought, they are easily sexable at that age Smile
