hi all,
i think my tortoise may have a touch of cold - i spotted a tiny bubble pop out from his nose last night with a bit of a sniff - do i need to be worried?
He is being kept nice and warm so no worries there, feeding fine and loves to have a walk round
(horsfield, approx 9-10 months old)

i dont think they are supposed to get runny noses, i have just read my book and i think you need to get him to the vet before he gets worse, could be a few things, parasites in the gut, a cold as you said but could all lead to death.
good luck

Hi Amy,
It could have a cold, although you viv might be nice and warm it could be quite cold walking round the floor in a house, a cold draught may have given it a chill?

I'm no vet but it was just a consideration Wink
