Well after thinking about getting one for a while saw one in local shop and decided to get it. Pretty sure its female as can only count six segments on its abdomen and told males have eight. Taken couple of small locusts and seems quite settled. Took some snaps but can't post as pc has died so using ipod to post this. They had a real nice flower mantis in but was tiny, are they quite easy to keep also?

the one karen got me is. he eats like a bucket, and is really quite tame. you can see his head turn when he is watching you out his tub. i give him a wee spray every day, and offer him food. if he wants it he takes it, if he doesnt he wont. am in love, and i want more. they are fascinating. does anyone know where to get them. any websites etc. cant wait to see your pics stuart.
