I do like the way Cresties eat.
I made the ladder. Took me ages to cut the wood and drill tiny holes for the rope. Then to tie the rope even on both sides. Not looking forward to making a bigger ladder for the big viv. _________________ Joey (From Sunny Clacton-on-Sea)

He is now in a 18 x 18 x 36 Terry Thatcher.
I have some pictures here of me setting it up
I planted it out in the bottom and covered the soil with stones. Big stones so he doesn't try to eat them. _________________ Joey (From Sunny Clacton-on-Sea)

I think he is ok with it now as he is resting in the Fiscus.
The front plant is more a tree but I will either trim it low or replace it when I feel it is too big.
He has to move into another bigger viv so I will probably change the plants again then.
I really think the glass was freaking him out as he would strike at it when he saw the reflection of a cricket and also he would puff up when he could see himself.
Although he has fell from the roof in this one twice now.
The camera is now situated on top so the view is a bit different. I think I have it in a place where he will sit. He does like that ladder so it can see that aswell. _________________ Joey (From Sunny Clacton-on-Sea)

That front tree is a conifer isn't it Joe? I'm not sure but it may be toxic, I only have to brush against one and I come up in a big rash. Unless you know otherwise I would remove it just in case. Can anyone else add to this? |

Not sure what the front 'tree' is but he does seem to like it.
He is happy to crawl over it and eat from it.
I will look into it though Brew as it is better to be safe than sorry.
I haven't had any problems from it and he seems happy in there but any advice is welcomed on this. _________________ Joey (From Sunny Clacton-on-Sea)

As you say Joe, better to be safe than sorry. Therefore I'd remove it until I was sure, they really do affect me, I hate them. |
