I went round a mates house today and held hes baby water dragon that he bought from Hamm and mayeb selling it soon. I told hhim I want first refusal after falling in love with the little babe.

Ive looked on care sheets and read that obviosly they need a basking spot, LARGE water container to submerge themselves into or even a deep cat litter tray. Ive read they need a big cage becaus anything too small they rub their nose against the glass and end up with nasty face erosion and mouth rot. Im moving house in roughly two years to a bigger house with my parents (or may eve be sooner the way ive been gettingon with my parents atm) so when i move then i would hopefully have a bigger bedroom to provide a 6ft by 4ft sized enclosure for the adult it would be then. Or would I get away with anything smaller?

Hes only about 6-7 inches in length without tail. Quite healthy little guy bless him

Has anyone got any piccys of their water dragon tanks they can show me?
and piccys of their water dragons?

Kellyx

to avoid nose rubbing simple put 6 inches or newspaper at the bottom of the glass doors even if the enclosure is big enough they still rub against their reflections. if you fancy a more natural look go for plants and plant them about 6 inch high all accross the bottom at the front.

Brilliant little (large lol) pets but not for beginners although your herp list looks more impessive than mine Razz
