You know, the first tree frogs I had were supposedly L. uluguruensis but I'm not convinced. Mine were, physiologically, very similar looking to yours, definitely Leptopelis but the yellow leaf mould spotting was completely absent in mine... though they were obviously young so perhaps it comes with age. I'll have to dig out the pics I have of them. Unfortunately we lost one shortly after aquiring them and then the other one a little later on. The shop I got them from didn't have a clue though so I think they were probably worse for waer upon purchase to be honest. I'd love to find some more... where did you get yours from? They are gorgeous little things and I really loved the sound of their calls! I miss them!

The Uluguru tree frog, as these are also commonly known, is one of those species that have different requirements every time you speak to someone new about them... one guy told me they're cannibalistic and therefore seldom last long in captivity... but mine used to happily munch on crix like it was going out of fashion... and I never noticed them eyeing each other up hungrily either Wink As for husbandry, I was also told they'd be tough to get right and that they'd probably just die after a week or so. I'm confident that had I got them form a more reputable supplier they'd have been fine in the set-up I had them in. I'd definitely like more.. but saying that, have you seen some of the other Leptopelis species?! Simply stunning...
