....... and the sometime was late this afternoon !

I was in the process of cleaning out the Lab cages for the multis . Putting back the LAST female of three, she decided to make a break for it , beejeesus these buggers cant half jump Shocked

ahm sure she donned red pants ( supermulti ) afore she leapt .

So there's me , an escaped multi , an over expectant cat ( no not pregnent , he's a Tom ),a closed door in snake room . The game begins.

Spots her right at the back of the snake rack , on the floor . Manages to get her into a large round plastic jug ,yippee . Five mins was all it took .

Till I tried to put her back into Lab cage ..... Multi 2 - Pete 0 Mad

This time she went UNDER the incubater ( converted fridge ) Ahm sure ah heard the wee bugger snigger. I impresonated ''Oor Wullie '' for over an hour , waiting , waiting and more waiting . Tried temting her with some millet spray , almost worked . Eventually had to move the 'bator ( not an easy task cos theres a rack on top of it ) Finally managed to get her into a cardboard tube and , very carefully , back into cage with her other famales whereupon she must have told them cos ahm deff sure I heard them snigger !

Last month the whole house woke up to screams of "theres a rat in my bed, THERES A RAT IN MY BED!!!!!!" coming from my sisters bedroom Laughing

Suffice to say i wasn't allowed to go back to bed till it had been caught Shocked

This reminds me of when a colony of Leaf Cutter Ants decided to go walk abouts in my bedroom!!!!!!!

The little bug*ers had made a floating bridge ( knowingly or not, i am not sure ) from discarded leaves and debris, and had managed to climb the sides of their enclosure. I kept finding worker ants for days after!!!!

it happend to me one time one of my gerbils was in a plastic tank and he chewed throught the lid and i spent 3hrs lookin for it wiht a net and gloves on coz it was a bog bighter and could easily draw blood Shocked
