Hi all.

This is my latest tank, its a large Exo Terra, just planted out with supplies from Dartfrog.co.uk (so a lot of growing to do).

All the rockery is 'man made' by me, it looks AWESOME in person (I'm very pleased!)

The bottom right is actually a cave that goes back quite far, perfect hiding place!

Hope you like!

Gary

Its polystyrene as a base, covered in expanded foam, tile adhesive (cement) and sillicone to seal.

I used the same stuff that railway modellers use (my dads old stuff), like coloured sands etc they use to create grass. This was sprinkled over everying when sillicone was applied. It was then hoovered inside out a day later to remove all excess, then more sillicone applied.

The tanks had just been heavily sprayed so its wet / sillicone that you are seeing Smile

Looks good Gary Smile what colour silicone did you use? it looks white almost like PVA gone wrong Question Is the dyed sand non toxic? I'm not sure model raiway builders have the same concerns as frogs Wink

Auratus are cool but a little shy at first so don't get bored too quick lol they do gt bolder over time Cool
