Jack mate one thing i tell most folk that come to me with this idea of breeding (2 most commen asked ) That and will they make mony doing it .
Do some market research , make sure there is a market for what you intend to breed or be prepared to feed what you cant sell on or give them away . Which Texas Rats being nippy things i think you may struggle even to do the latter . .
But as you say its still early stages of planning so no rush
