The first is a red breast second is a tit.

The little blue bird you're not sure about is a nuthatch. I've only ever seen them when I lived in Oxford. Lovely pictures! _________________

thanks everyone i only know the names of the common birds but never saw a nuthatch before or a spotted wood pecker but i guess thats coz i have never really looked its only across the road by my local shops wasn't scared at all, well until a dog came bounding up to me that was the only trouble i would see something and someone would come past on a quad or something lol  _________________

this was a red kite i think i missed a great opportunity the other day on the way to work was coming down the link road in my mates car and it flew so low it was beautiful just wish i had my cam oh well

thanks stu and karen i love nuthatches i have only ever seen the one but haven't really looked. aww i would love to see them more do you see many different birds? before i got my cam i never really went walking looking for birds but now i have i love it i like the jays too there's a pair of them living near mine would be nice to get them together  _________________
