Here is my gorgeous Bull female, Esmeralda. Going by the previous two years dates, i.e. from shed to laying, she is due to lay tomorrow or Friday. The viv., is in a right ol' mess as she is going into her moss filled hide and then coming out and crashing around a bit. She is such a gentle girl that I am very fond of her. Last year she laid 22 eggs, and then six weeks later had another two which also hatched!!!!!! Very Happy

The male that I used is het for albino, soooo am hoping for 50% albino babies. Will HAVE to keep at least one of them Rolling Eyes

Oh dear, and to show what a muddle I am in, the reference to counting the eggs refers to the Hoggie who is now laying - up to 13 eggs and a slug now - and not of course to Esmerelda who has not quite started yet.

I cannot even claim the excuse of having a 'blonde moment' as I have red hair.... Confused

OK YOU GUYS, EGGS Cool Rolling Eyes Before going to bed last night at 01:00 I as usual just checked out the snake room. Thought that Esmerelda looked strange - so I watched her for a bit. Yup, contractions Very Happy Really relieved 'cos she was a couple of days late and I was getting worried in case she was egg-bound. Couple of hours later she laid the first egg, huge as usual, but then she is a nice big girl. I went to bed happy that everything was 'working' and got up at 07:30 to get any eggs into the incubator. There were eight eggs then. She is now laying the last of her eggs - think that there is only one left. Twenty eggs in all, 50% of which should be albino. Very Happy

Photo of eggs in the incubator, one more being laid. YIPPPPPPPEEEEEEE
