Hi,

I'm prob the only person on here with zero experience with cornsnakes lol...

I've just 'rescued' a very cold, rather skinny looking amel corn snake. It was on a stairwell outside some offices.

Whether or not its past the point of no return I don't know. I've put it in a tupperware box with a heatmat under about a third.

I suspect that it is dehydrated and hasn't fed in quite a while. Length about 20".

Any suggestions?

Is it ok to give it a warm bath?

Appropriate temps?

Cheers,
Mark.

[Hi Mark
Keep it at around 27-28c for a while with sum water in the tub for drinking(in a small bowl.) 20" is quite a bigin for a baby.. Try not desturb it for a couple of days, then try feeding it with a small fuzzy mouse or even a couple of pinks, you don't want to try feeding it to much for now,( basically as if it were a hatchling). If it eats, then try it with the same again about 3 days later, if it eats again, then you can up the food size..
Give me a shout if you have any hassles.
Cheers Iain

Thanks for your reply: the snake didn't make it. I suspect that it was injured as well as dehydrated etc... Sad Sad

Cheers,
Mark.
