ok
just a little run through
capensis - cape
lineatus - striped (not compatible with capensis)
fuliginosus - brown (same as capensis but lacking head stripes & not compatible)
maculatus - dotted pattern
mentalis - big eyed, larger eyes and yellow head stripes
there are more but those are the ones in which are generally confused and all commonly labelled as fuliginosus

Kizzies have started hatching - currently 2 have hatched a further 4 have pipped, and there are 2 dead eggs underneath the clutch :O so only 13 eggs left, which is still a lot haha
anyways, one has hatched out and is in its tub... and the other has gone missing, i think it has dug under the vermiculite but i cant go digging for it because the eggs on top will be disturbed... but it cant have escaped so its still in there - we'll see

pics later on

ok ok... It seems i have got it wrong, i think...
15 eggs, 2 eggs have died, 6 are left to hatch, and i have 8 hatchlings already, which if you add up gives me 14... soo... i must have had twins somewhere...

I'm so confused! but i don't think i have lost one... unless i had triplets...
snake breeding is just so dang confusing!

and only 1 of the last clutch has fed... gahh snakes, who'd have them?

on a lighter note, 15 more eggs laid last night, laid by kizzie...
quick pic:

your probably getting bored by now... but at least I'm keeping it to one post Laughing
also, kizzies hatchlings have not started shedding yet, but when they do i will post individual pics, until then though... heres a group shot, all 14 babies in their cricket tub - moist hide.

and since I'm in a photo posting mood a quick pic of my yearling female - Tiny, whom in the 4 months i have had her - has practically trebled in size!
