|
|
You may remember a little while ago that a few of us from the reptile forums were given a chance to have our children involved with a Children's programme called Beat The Boss.
Basically, it is a show whereby two teams, one made up of adults and the other of children. Both teams are given the same design task.
The items designed by the teams arethen examined by children and a vote taken on which is best.
This particular episode set the task of designing a housing for Reptiles. Our children were to be used in a Q&A session with the Adults to give them ideas.
This episode was shown earlier today on the CBBC Channel.
My Daughter appears holding our Desert Kingsnake and our Greybanded is filmed on the grass. There are other members children too.
The programme will be repeated on the 24th April on BBC1 at 16:00 or you can watch the show online via the link...

I will add that although good advice was given by the children, judging by the final results (and an outburst by Saira Khan), I can't say it was always (if ever) adherred to. _________________ 31August2008-Kent Reptile Show (Amphibians & Inverts welcome) for more information & Booking e:mail: mrac@sky.com |

No, the it's the one where the challenge is to design a housing for a reptile. One team designs a viv for a corn snake, the other a viv for Beardies.
The designs are then made by Exo-Terra.
My daughter was not part of the team, she was just interviewed by the 'big shots' along with a few other children as a market research exercise. _________________ 31August2008-Kent Reptile Show (Amphibians & Inverts welcome) for more information & Booking e:mail: mrac@sky.com |

I have just checked the link. Unfortunately (as Crouchy mentioned) it is no longer available. However, the show is repeated on April as mentioned in the first post. _________________ 31August2008-Kent Reptile Show (Amphibians & Inverts welcome) for more information & Booking e:mail: mrac@sky.com |
