ReptileClassifieds.co.uk (v1) has now been up 4 months and we have seen a massive increase in viewing traffic and adverts placed but we want to keep the site fresh and as functional as possible by adding / amending as many new features as we can.

You may of noticed that since the site was launched in November 07 we have already added a few extra features including an IP check (although this may sometimes come back with USA for certain IP providers), also a 'forgotten password resend' feature.

So, if anyone has any ideas or feedback on how to improve the site even further then please post up here and who knows maybe your ideas will be added to the UK's best reptile classifieds site Wink

Remember, you canalso just post up what you do like about the site (or don't like).

Being able to browse the ads in sections would be helpful.
Sections for livestock, heating, health care etc

If you log in you can choose to view 15, 25 or 50 adverts per page, you can also choose to view any or all adverts from the following categories

Snakes
Lizards
Chelonians
Inverts
Exotic Mammals
Fish & Aquaria
Equipment & Services

cheers Stu, certainly seems to of picked up, over a 100 new users joining a week at the moment.

Also I forgot to say, IF you view the site NOT logged in then as a default you will see ALL the adverts for the UK from all the categories. You also have 25 adverts per page, to change this you just log in and then you can select Lizards & Snakes, 50 per page (for example).

Have to agree with Stu really, think its just right, but one thing i thought may help is to display the date the advertiser registered and/or how many adverts they have placed like on the forum. This way if you saw a real good deal on there and the advertiser had been registered like a year and placed 20 adverts theres more chance its a genuine add, same way as a new member with no previous adverts you can be a bit more cautious. But then again it is pretty secure now, i havent been able to delete a scammer add for ages cause i keep getting beaten to them. Laughing
