Is it normal for a Veiled chameleon to flick its tongue out to drink drops of water?
Vernon used to lick the water off of the leaves after I sprayed them but now he doesnt seem to drink as much so I have got a little dripper that drips through the mesh at the top on to leaves and I noticed he was flicking his tongue out as the droplets were rolling off of the leaves. Is this normal?
Also as he is getting older and bigger he is becoming less sociable and hides as I approach the viv. Is this what they do as they get older? |

Sounds perfectly normal. As long as he's drinking, that's the main thing! _________________
