My children were watching 'Animal 24:7' which is a programme that follows 'a day in the life of' RSPCA Officers.
One of the cases was the rescue of a Colombian Rainbow Boa that was placed in the care of the South Essex Animal Centre (or similar), and then 'adopted' by a chap called Gary.
While handling the Boa, Gary got tagged in the face.
It had been mentioned that 'Gary' was the member of a reptile forum, and I wondered if it was this one.

hi i know Gary Smile

saw him a day after it got him right near his eye looked painful apparently it had been left to a parent when the owner moved out and it had been just fed and not handled. i saw and handled the snake a few days after (when i picked up a hogg island Gary picked up 4 me Very Happy

) luckily she didn't go for me it was a fatty though
