|
|
Ordered a couple fruit fly cultures from Ricka couple weeks back.
Firstly, they took about 5 days to arrive, i was used to Ricks normal 1/2 day.
Secondly, the culture never hatched, resulting in the loss of two of my Auratus. (Possibly my fault for not keeping spare food).
Thirdly, very poor communication. Emailed 2/3 times an dhe never wrote back...
Anyone else had this problem? |

I dont get livefood from rick but did do a swap for some panther chameleons.
Swapped 5 healthy Panther chameleons for a pair of Mitsio. Put them in quarantine went to feed the male on the same day and he could only project his tongue 1 inch. He now has to be hand fed.
The female seemed to lose weight after 2 weeks and the dropping sample came back positive. She was riddled with internal parasites!
The female he could not have known about but the male was obvious.
All in all not happy! |

id only ever heard good stuff about rick before so i suppose this shows another side. Every business will have some unhappy customers though no matter who it is.
Ive been wanting to buy a roach colony for a while but for the last month or so hes been sold out. I don't know if he maybe has something else on at the minute cos he isn't around on here much anymore either _________________

Ive had problems twice now with him. First i placed an order for fruitflies which he emailed stating he didn't have , but would have after the weekend. Monday morning i get a paypal refund and no explanation.
The other day i order a load of crix and a tub of locusts and 95% turn up dead after 2 days in the post, so i email him and he just tells me to let them warm up (which i do) but they are still dead. I then let him know i would like a replacement.
Next morning i get a paypal refund...again no explanation.
My complaint isn't the fact that i have a refund, obviously its great that i do...its the lack of communication. My previous supplier would have replaced immediately and emailed an apology. My animals will have to go with out livefood over the weekend now because of this as i am unable to get out to a local supplier. |
