if your wondering about my subtrate im not a fan of sand i personally feel sand causes impaction and and is like living in a toilet . i placed my uvb bulb the same side as my basking bulb

Heres some of mine, although its probably a bit on the large side for what you want. (8x2.5x2.5)



And this was taken approx 1yr ago (changed considerably since then)

ive got 2 beardies at the moment 1 male 1 female i have 2 set ups 1 for each beardie. i use exoterra basking bulbs and repti sun 8s for uvb but use repti sun 10s if you can get hold of them there meant to be the best on the market
