I brought a pair of hognose early in 07 as Dusty's which these days are classified as regional normals from what I can gather rather then a separate subspecies.
Thing is as they're growing their colours are lightening and showing green blushings - now I've only seen the green phase morph on adults not youngsters so am not really too sure of what I've got here!
Pictures below don't show them in their true glory but gives you an idea of their colourings. They are a lot lighter than my normals or my 100% het albino's

Sometimes you will find a few normals with a green hue on them. A hypo green looks as its named, green. Try Searching for 'Chad Fuchs' he runs cfsnakes in the states he has some good examples.

I would agree - very nice, but seem to be normal hoggies.
Barry Summerhayes (www.hognose.co.uk) has some excellent photos of hypo greens to compare with. |
