Rehoused the baby anoles today-originally had them in a geo viv with a peat substrate but ive been worried about the smallest one (which is also the oldest) so swapped them into a far simpler setup: one of those hatchling tubs I have my tadpoles and eggs in, with paper towel substrate, small waterbowl and loo roll tubes for climbing/ hiding. UV strip above, statted heat mat below 1/4 of it and roberts your mothers brother.

lol
you could use a faunarium in a similar way.
they have the grilled tops so a uv tube can be sat on it and a good percentage still get through.
I use zoomed reptisun 10's if i do so and think over the lesser height of a faunarium a perfectly adequate amount of uvb gets to the lizard. _________________ Beardies

It doesn;t need to be a problem providing you can supplement correctly with vitamin d3. (Rep-Cal calcium + d3 is the best, sold in the states)
There's quite a few anolis and phelsuma keepers that use this technique and have done successfully for years _________________ Steve P |
