you do have to tell them what the snake cost and for a snake under £100 they will only insure it for vets fees. which is really what you want anyway. _________________

I don't use pet insurance. I put £20 a month by in savings 'just in case' I need to pay vets bills. _________________

its the same with all pet insurance. they wont cover breeding. to be honest the one time i have had to take one to the vet, and i was booked for one, but took two, got the initial two examinations, the stuff i needed to tube feed kya, and loads of tins of dog food, and it came to £30. people automatically think, and its the same with horses, that you keep reps etc and the vets fees are gonna be huge. thats not the case. everytime i have had vet out to the horses the bill i have had has not exceeded my excess.
so to be honest i think putting money away every month could be the way to go.
the vets bills i get for my cats dogs and rabbits are normally bigger than for the reps and horses. _________________

I tried them for my GTP's and they wouldnt insure.
The way I look at it is treat them when they need it and expect it to be costly.
If you cannot put up with vets bills get a goldfish!!! _________________ Live for today as your dead for a long long time
