Oh Ok but as you were looking at the Red Runners I thought he'd be the guy as he's does them - their other name is Turkistan Roaches they really are tiny as hatching's, they go thru my tea strainer when I do the cleaning lol.

| Red runners are very productive, easy to breed, and the nymphs are very small. Banana roaches are supposed to be much more tricky. Red runners can climb "smooth" surfaces unless they are very clean. I wouldn't use them to feed animals indoors though. I am worried about the potential of this species to breed indoors. Especially if you have a nice warm reptile room !! Anybody any experience here ?? |

forgot to say if you want a different small food item, what about bean weevils, firebrats, or confused flour beetles ? I assume you know about BOTH species of fruitfly commonly available ? I would rather use them in my house, instead of red runners ! |

My Red runners live with the dubia and don't climb out either the viv or their tub never seen them climbing the tub walls unlike the lobsters.

I culture all of those and a few more 
I decided right now isn't the right time for roaches (well some one else did ) especially after hearing a mates tale of having them in sheds he never cultured them or fed them in

Are these Blatta lateralis youre talking about, or the similar, common pest, Blatta orientalis? I'm sure anyone who keeps these would be interested whether they can become a pest. |
