I was just wondering if any one in the UK sex's their hatchling tegus...i know its done via probing (80%+ accuracy) in europe and america, but just wondering if any one does it in the UK

also i was wondering if any one keeps/breeds blue tegus in the UK because i have a red and a black and white...but i would like a blue tegu. If not have many people seen hatchling red tegus?

Whereabouts are you based?
I've sexed baby tegus - I'm self taught though, I couldn't find much info... On Black and Whites males probe 29 scales and females 17, the awkward thing is finding where to probe, it's right on the edge of the tail.
Then you have to avoid being pooed on... nasty!

im based in Jersey so whenever i want to pick up a new animal i have to come over to england...but if i find an animal i want and some one can hold it for me till i get over then it is well worth it
