|

right recently got 100 locusts from Rick ha vent use them as a feeder while and was wondering could i feed them off to my beardie as his main diet? instead of crickets because the crickets noise in my bedroom at night is so annoying! so i use to have to keep them in the shed but do to weather conditions getting quite cold the heat mat doesn't seem to keep them that warm so I'm trying locusts and keeping them in my rack which is nice and warm and they dint make a noise! _________________

locust are a far better food item than crickets, especially if freshly packed.
If you keep them for any length of time you should ideally feed them greens (cabbage etc not lettuce). _________________
