I have tried the compacts they are ok in small setups, i think there was an article posted on here about them somewhere, something about them not being so good, I get got my exos from Rick hun _________________

Ah right. I had heard they aren't great.
I have asked Rick a while ago about exo.
He doesn't send them out because of insurance.
Just adding up how much it will cost.

No i met him and picked mine up, i had one sent a few yrs back when they first came on to the market and the whole back was smashed, so not the best things to send out via courier _________________

Lol, no it's just tubes and starters. Some of the bigger vivs have 2 tubes in 'em. _________________

You should buy them in bulk the amount you buy.
So you would say zoo med is best?

Hi paul
there is some new research that everyone who uses UV lighting needs to read - over on www.uvguide.co.uk
Some of the newer compact lights require modification - but I cant really say much other than read the info on the site given and there will be an article printed in Reptile care fairly soon ( our extra annual edition I think) _________________ Cheers Angi
