A couple of friends of mine have just launched a new website, dedicated to Thamnophis sp. Gartersnakes, in other words.
One of the guys, Leif, has been into reptiles since just before Jesus gou out of hes diapers and the other guy Pierre, since the mid -80´s so neither of them is amateurs. Leif is also my "mentor" so to speak. He gave me my first hotsnake.. He has been into hotsnakes and European animals for long, but decided that Thamnophis sp. is he´s thing.

I think garters are regaining some of their former popularity. Looks like a cool site!

Yup.. And that it good, I think. Nice animals to keep.
I did not have a clue that there where so many species that looked so different from eachother..
