Has anyone used the porcelain lampholder from Maplin, if so what did you think of it? I want to use it with a 150 watt ceramic bulb. I'm worried about using it as it's cheap and doesn't look as well made as some of the other makes specifically made for vivariums.

I use them in my vivs, although currently not using ceramic bulbs in them, although I would have no worries about doing so.

They will be fine to run a ceramic heater, remember to use heat proof flex too like butyl. Very Happy

I use a few of them for 100 watt ceramics and would be quite happy to put a 150 watt ceramic in one. They are strong enough for the purpose.
