as far as i know everyone has there own way, some like a quick whack on the head other break the neck, there was a thread on culling not so long ago, its a good read, have a look

I have found another good way recently, gas airsoft pistol with a steel bb, quick and hardly any mess or blood, if your tight you can buy the single bb, wash and re-use
