Hey! Sorry, I havent been near my pc for a bit!!!
Iv just taken delivery of a single male, soon to be given two girlfreinds!!
Just looking for pointers on which frogs, and other lizards they can be housed with them.
Ive always fancied a White`s Tree Frog, and possibly some marsh frogs! Have you any thoughts or knowledge on community tanks?
Iv set up my new large Exo Terra up, and Im realy pleased with it! Iv used a Yukka as the main plant, and some ivy for floor cover, with a view to add more. Ive used twisted branches to go horizontaly, and verticaly to make the most of the space. I may look into getting a small water fall, or filtered pool.
Any advise welcome!

Have to agree with MJ there. Mixing species generally isn't a good idea. The anoles like it hot, which won't do the frogs any favours. Stick with the anoles and if you still want to keep frogs, set them up in a different viv.

Whites would eat the anoles!!

I have seen American green tree frogs (Hyla cinerea) and green anoles (Anolis carolinensis) kept together really successfully, but that was in a large well planted vivarium... Cool

Just a bit of advice with regard to the waterfall. I had one in with my brown anoles and one of them ended up getting an eye infection as I didn't clean out the waterfall as often as I should have.

The thing is, the waterfall is quite tricky to clean properly and to do so means removing it from the viv. I had it in an Exo-terra glass fronted/screen lid viv and even tho it was at the front I was afraid of the anoles making a dash for it when I had to remove it (the wire should go out the hole in the top of the lid) but its risky, as the top and front doors have to be open at the same time!

Anyway, I ended up taking it out altogether and now just use a drip system and spray twice daily and I find this works much better for me.
