When I got Timmy my new baby Hermann's tortoise just over a week ago he came with a wooden vivarium which I learned wasn't an ideal habitat for him, so today I got his new home through the post, a nice new tortoise table from Livefood UK, it's a nice plastic model measuring 36" x 36". I have given him a substrata of Hemp bedding, the UV is supplied by an EXO TERRA Repti Glo 10.0 UVB tube and his basking lamp is an EXO TERRA Sun Glo Neodymium daylight basking spot lamp (100w).
I have seen set up's and heard people talking about using seed trays within the tortoise table to supply differing surfaces etc for the tortoise and I fully intend to do this for Timmy so I'm open to any suggestions for this or any other way of making his home a more interesting and enjoyable place for him to live.

This is a link to a photo of his new table.

I'd add some rock and pieces of slate so he can wear down his nails more.
Other than that It looks great!
