Hi, I got out for the second time this year to spot reptiles, earlier in the year i saw a few common lizards and even got close enough to shoot one with my old camera, He had a tick and i wonder if this is why i got so close?

Today i saw about 20 individuals, mostly very young/small ones, unsure if they were last years or this years hatchlings? They were very skittish and i only managed to shoot one:

Then i spotted this little fellow hiding in the dead gorse, i got right above him for the shot?

Different one

I saw another from quite aways off, on a log deep in a sea of gorse and heather, i tripped and stumbled my way toward her, twigs and bark cracking loudly, i dont know how i managed to get to within four foot of her??
I took shots as i got closer and she was joined by another, Bargin Very Happy

Then this little chap jumped out of the gorse and onto the path, double bargin Very Happy

Not a bad day Cool
