Actually there are two types of trimesurus under the popes heading, both beautiful. Waglers are still my favourite.
I had given up venomous handling, but a couple of very naughty people are trying to tempt me back into keeping vipers and Im not doing so well with resisting _________________ Cheers Angi

Hiya,
I don't mean to be a total nerd, but I am, so that's how it comes out. Either your photo is the wrong one or the name is wrong, but the Macrovipera lebetina is a blunt nosed viper, Vipera palaestinae is the palestinian viper, and the photo is certainly not a Palestinian Viper. I point this out simply so that people do not get confused. You have either Macrovipera lebetina lebetina or M.l.turanica.
Hope you don't mind me pointing this out, but I am a huge fan of Palestine Vipers.
