If you're new to forums then you may find it hard to follow some of the jargon & abbreviations used.

Here's a list of a few common ones, If any members can think of others, PLEASE add them to this thread.

lol = laugh out loud (in other words they find your post funny)

IMO = In my opinion

IMHO = In my honest opinion (not much difference really....unless of course you usually lie Laughing

)

FYI = For Your Information

ROFL(MAO) = Rolling On Floor Laughing (My Arse Off)

TY(VM) = Thank you (Very Much)

LOL = Lots Of Love context of use determins this one as there are two meanings other in Scotts' first post.

() means variations of said accronym

FFS = For "fluff" sake.. Wink

A few of the reptile related abbreviations :
CB= Captive bred
CF= Captive farmed
WC= Wild caught
CGD= Crested gecko diet
MRP= Meal replacement powder

I'll let someone else do the snake ones as I'm not too sure of them! Razz
