|
|
Hey guys
I was given aload of second hand parts for vivs the other day nothing special just some heat mates a 2ft tank with some African land snails in and what i believe is a fogger, it defiantly looks like one but has a light on it.
Ill take a pic later today and post it up, but if it is a fogger im not sure how much of it should be submerged. Has anyone got a fogger or know how to use them?
i tried it out but nothing happend after around 15 mins so i turned it off.
thanks

If its a fogger it should be completely submerged. Ultrasonic foggers have a habit of gtting through the ceramic ultrasonic membranes like you wouldnt believe in hard water areas, you may need to just replace it/them |

You also need to cover the water, too, as contact can give you a shock. I used a piece of wire mesh over a tupperware tub for my water dragons. They loved to sit on top of it! _________________

I was going to post a pic but i cant find the usb cable, it is a fogger though.
Thanks

Maplin do a range of replacement diaphragms, take a rough measurement of the little ringed bit this will give you an idea of size they seem to range fro 1.5cm to 2.2cm so the size differences are small. The led is to show you it is plugged in and receiving power.
Here's a link the kits are under £2 and they quite often have the foggers themselves on 1/2 price promo

this is the fogger i use, has a few different light sequences, the part i have circled in red must be covered, that is the sensor so that it does not run while dry |
