What do you want to gain from joining?

Both are different and offer different advantages.

IHS is great as you get publications and newsletters, plus access to shows. The FBH is just a support ing society that fights to protect our interests at a political level and also gives you access to most of the UK shows.

Both are important.

i want to help are hobby and go to shows to meet others etc so ihs sounds the one for me ?

yep, IHS is better for meeting other hobbyists, they have monthly meetings around the country too.
