|
I have been asked by a friend if I could find somebody in Kent who deals in Giant African Landsnails as they want to purchase them.
I will visit the usual Reptile Stores, but thought I would ask on here as well.
Any recommendations?. _________________ 31August2008-Kent Reptile Show (Amphibians & Inverts welcome) for more information & Booking e:mail: mrac@sky.com |

Thanks for the offer, but I picked a couple up while getting some snake food this morning.
I have one question regarding substrate though.
I thought I had some Orchid Bark at home, which I was going to mix with a bit of Eco Earth to use as substrate, but when I checked, it is Cypress Mulch, not Orchid Bark.
Would Cypress Mulch and Eco Earth mixed make a suitable substrate?. _________________ 31August2008-Kent Reptile Show (Amphibians & Inverts welcome) for more information & Booking e:mail: mrac@sky.com |

Cheers for the offer. However, they were for a friend, actually , for the son of a friend.
The set up seems to work well and the Snails are in their new home.
It's quite funny, the guy that asked if I could obtain and set it all up, is not into Reptiles, inverts etc at all. In fact, he hasn't set foot in my home since he found out I had snakes , however, he seems to have taken to the Snails and is now calling them 'his snails' when speaking about them, rather than 'my boy's snails'. _________________ 31August2008-Kent Reptile Show (Amphibians & Inverts welcome) for more information & Booking e:mail: mrac@sky.com |
