hey in my local shop i see two red and white tegu's for sale they say these are rare but im not sure what do you guys say and think they are worth they are around a year old proven pair?

ive never heard of them.

possibly a red x black and white pair?

they go from as little as £150 as juveniles up to as much as £250.If they are only a year old I doubt they are proven though.Stunning lizards but can get huge..bigger than the argentines

I presume they are just red tegus..and have been labelled up as red and white..

There are a couple of crosses between black and white tegus and red tegus in USA,

In our colony of Argentine B&W tegus, we do have some adults and babies that have a pink/orange colouration instead of the usual white.

Maybe a colour morph???...LOL

sorry guys ive been away. the tegu's are very red and white the pair is for sale for £250 from what i could see from when i fed them look like they are male and female. differnt shape of heads and a bulge when im next in the shop ill take some pictures
