is anybody familiar with the royal blue colored anole,ifso is it obtainable. i live in new york it's hard to find rare species here.

From what I understand, they only live on one small island in South America, and are being decimated there by introduced brown basilisks.

I did manage to find some pictures of Blue phase Anoles, but I couldn't post them as they were BMP format! Sorry bout that.

Just google Blue Anole and click the image button, they are quite a few decent pics, with a few Red phase and also some very elaborate setup vivs!

Sorry again that it wouldn't allow me to put up the pics but they are there!

trust me fellaz i'm very familiair with the blue anole ,but i'm just trying to find out if they are obtainable. it's so sad tgat they are being demolished by destruction( thats like afro american people with police within the 5 boro's) no direspect to the good officers . (please excuse me i just lost a ood frirnd to police a few month back . i'm pretty sure yall heard about the unjustice shooting that went down B4 my homies wedding. ne way i would like to obtain one of those blue anoles

I can't see them being true A. gorgonae for $10!! I'm pretty certain none are currently allowed to be collected from the wild for private collections...and if they did there would be a price to match!

ok maybe, but they are advertised as such, and various other places list them, also very cheap.
I listed that one cos the thread author is in Ny and its an american site.

depending on where in ny you are you may want to visit dnj reptiles (long island) or reptile addicts (just outside of buffalo).

they will be able to help you out.

i have asked the same question they are very nice,look at my thread a few months ago,there is a pic of them(wed 28 th of feb in lizards general,anolis gorganae)
