Which is best for first time lizard keeper?

Just a quickie to try and gauge from people what they think is best for a first time lizard keeper to get.....

1. Rankins Dragon
2. Bearded Dragon

From what I have researched they both seem to need pretty much the same care, feeding etc.

you're right, they are both pretty much the same. Rankins eat far less food so are cheaper and easier to keep other than that I treat mine identical.

because they eat less, therefore they make less mess. Other than that they are the same.
