How can you even think of having your tortoises 'couriered'? They are live animals, not paper documents, and they deserve a little more respect. If you are selling your reptiles, can you not get the new owners to collect? I apologise if I have mis-read your post, but I have visions of beautiful tortoises being sent like parcels in the mail. How frightened will they be, no light, very little air . . .

PLEASE THINK AGAIN.

Concerned tortoise owner.

nikki when emma says courier she doesnt mean in the post it is ilegal to send vertebrates throught he post such as royal mail she means a specialist courier of reptiles etc. these will pick up from the sellers house and deliver to the buyers and the animals are transported in a vehicle and the animals have heatmats sufficent air etc and will turn up in the same condition they left in. hope this helps
